Meet Tarah

I have always known my star sign, but my mind was blown, when in 2018 I discovered that our sun sign is just a tiny part of our astrological identity. I have not looked back since and have studied astrology in depth for the last four years. I enjoy studying formally, so I am currently studying astrology at the Faculty of Astrological Studies, London. I recently successfully completed modules 1-4 of the foundation course and plan to take the foundation chart interpretation exam soon. To find out more, please visit their website here

I'm on the steering committee of the Astrologer's Co-op, which seeks to provide a safe space to discover new and diverse voices in astrology. We are currently journeying through the 36 decans, by inviting a vast talent of astrologers to contribute creative pieces every 10° of the zodiac. You can join here for free!

I use the Tropical, Whole Sign System and use a combination of both traditional and modern astrology. I am of the belief that astrology is closely linked to psychology and my style is to use them both in a complementary way. I am honoured to share my intuitive insights with a view to helping others heal and flourish.

I am a mother, a wife and before astrology totally consumed my life, I was a science teacher for 14 years. I have a BSc in Molecular Genetics and a MSc in Forensic Science (I blame my Sag moon and 9th house MC). It may seem contradictory being both a scientist and an astrologer, but I don't believe one needs to negate the other; I firmly believe they truly support each other. In fact much like the genetic DNA we inherit from our parents, I like to refer to the astrological DNA that we also inherit from our parents. My passion lies within relational astrology, specifically the astrology of familial relationships. My 12th house Cancer Mars is a fierce protector of my family ties and through my own experiences I have realised the importance of connecting with our past, our ancestors, our heritage. Only then can we start to unpick the complexities woven between our family connections to foster loving relationships with ourself and others.
